"I originally started with State Farm a few years ago when I needed someone to insure my Ram 5500 (technically a commercial vehicle) for personal use hauling a camper. After being denied by some of the other well known companies, a friend recommended State Farm to me. I worked directly with my own personal agent (Carolyn), who was very attentive and knowledgeable, and took the time to understand exactly what my needs were and helped craft a policy to fit. She is always responsive and helpful, and it nice to have a real person to deal with instead of a rep at the other end of an 800 number. In addition, because of the excellent service I got during that initial policy experience, I have shifted several of my other vehicles to State Farm as well. And most recently, after catching USAA trying to extort ridiculous premiums for Homeowner's Insurance, State Farm was able to provide an identical policy at 25% the cost of what USAA was attempting to gouge me for. Fortunately, I have yet to file any claims against them, so I can't report about that experience, but we'll cross that bridge should it ever arrive. So far, everything has been fantastic with them!"
